PMAS Care Line Link to PMAS Careline Leaflet In partnership with Police Mutual, NARPO are pleased to be able to announce the launch of the Police Mutual Care Line providing support for the police family, serving and retired,  in times of need.
The service will be provided by Red Arc, a nurse led advice service, who are at the end of the telephone to help with a range of concerns, including coping with bereavement, serious physical or mental health problems, disabilities, trauma, post-hospital care or dealing with long term elderly matters.
All nurses are specially trained advisers with a great deal of knowledge who treat all callers with compassion, sensitivity and in confidence.

The Police Dependent's Trust Police Dependant's Trust exists to assist in cases of need: dependants of police officers or former police officers who die or have died as a result of an injury received in the execution of duty; and police officers or former police officers who are, or have been incapacitated as a result of an injury received in the execution of duty.

The Police Roll of Honour Trust A record of the public service and sacrifice of British police officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty, since the earliest days of professional law enforcement.
The Police Treatment centre (Flint House, Goring-on-Thames) The Centre, staffed by a dedicated team treats both serving and retired officers. At Flint House they receive physiotherapy, general nursing, plus specialist treatments such as acupuncture, aromatherapy and hydrotherapy, therapeutic massage, rest and recuperation following either an illness or injury.
The National Memorial Arboretum Located within the National Forest near Lichfield, the National Memorial Arboretum comprises 150 acres of trees and memorials devoted to the concept of Remembrance.
It is the home of the Armed Forces Memorial, a striking and emotive structure that gives recognition and thanks for those who have died whilst on duty or as a result of terrorist action since the Second World War and acknowledges the enduring sacrifice of those who mourn their loss.
It also includes the Police Memorial Garden and its tree lined avenue "The Beat".
The Arboretum is open everyday except Christmas Day and entry is FREE. Disability friendly: wheelchairs and scooters available to loan on site (book in advance).

Staffordshire Police Museum No web details Sadly the former Staffordshire Police Museum collection has been split up and divided between several local collections.
All paperwork, books and all ephemera is at the Archivists Office in Eastgate Street, Stafford.
Some Cannock Items are at the Valley Heritage Centre.
Newcastle items are at The Museum, The Brompton, Newcastle.
North Staffs items are at Hanley Museum.
All photographs and video's are at the County Photographic Archive situated in Hanley Museum. Alan Walker, the former volunteer Curator is happy to discuss police history and artefacts with anyone with an interest.
